MMEA foils attempt to smuggle in contraband kretek cigarettes worth RM2.95 mln

ALOR GAJAH, May 17 — The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) foiled an attempt to smuggle in 4.27 million kretek (clove) cigarettes of various brands worth RM2.95 million in the waters of Tanjung Sepat, Selangor on Monday (May 15).

MELAKA, Feb 12 — The search-and-rescue operation (SAR) for a commando feared drowned off Pulau Undan on Tuesday (February 7) continued today with the use of sonar by the Field Survey Team from the National Hydrographic Centre (PHN) Operations and Borders Branch.
